Re: Electronic Fund Transfer (ACH)

Dear Homeowner:
Due to recent changes to the Steuben Lakes Regional Waste District’s (“District”) rate ordinance, some changes have been made to payments made by Electronic Fund Transfer. Automatic payments will now be initiated four business days prior to the new due date of the 30th of the month, except in February where payments will be due the 28th of the month and initiated four business days prior to that.

Please find enclosed a copy of the updated Electronic Payments Policy and Procedures.

If you would like to cancel your automatic payment, the District requires a 21-day advance notification prior to cancellation. This allows us to contact our financial institution and make necessary changes.

If you would like to make a change to your current automatic withdrawal setup on your existing customer account, the form must be signed by all parties listed on the designated checking or savings account with the updated banking information you would like the District to make the change to.
